My baby likes the bigger bottles compared to the skinnier bottles because it is easier for him to hold up on his own. <span itemprop="description">We’ve been using these bottles since we transitioned from nursing and they’ve been good for the transition. My only complaint and annoyance, is that these bottles leak! We use formula now so we have to shake the bottle up. I’ve been loosening the lid to let out pressure after shaking and loosening the lid when warming the bottle to help keep the pressure down inside the bottle, but it doesn’t seem to help. Just today I was feeding my baby and got done only to realize the bottle had leaked.... again. It soaked through the burp cloth AND her outfit! It’s really frustrating! I understand it leaking some but for it to leak that much.... idk? I really wish this could be fixed because we’ve enjoyed the bottles other than that.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We love the De Brown's Wide Options+ Bottle system! There are SO many options with this system! First off you get to pick from 8oz or 5oz Bottle sizes AND Plastic OR Glass! We chose ALL options! Glass bottles also have a super nifty silicone sleeve you can use Another! Another cool thing is the bottles can be used WITH or WITHOUT the vent system! We use the vents at home, and when out and about we use them without the vents!
Next, let's talk about nipple flow rates! Dr. Brown's has the widest variety for flow rates available! Preemie size all the way up to a Level 4! There is also a specialty Y cut nipple for thicker liquids! These bottles will follow your little one from Infancy up to toddlerhood because Dr. Brown's also has a Sippy Spout available! You can turn your bottles into a sippy cup by removing the nipple, and adding a sippy spout. One more amazing thing is that you can also add a set of Handles!!
You can use the Formula Mixing Pitcher for other purposes too! I personally use one for daily breastmilk, the mixer carefully swirls all the fat back into the milk. I also do the same with frozen breastmilk- I put 3 to 4 bags of thawed milk into the pitcher, and then use the mixer to carefully swirl the fat back into the milk!
Another Dr. Brown's item that I rant and rave about is the Milk Spa Bottle Warmer!! This bottle warmer accommodates both narrow and wide neck bottles in plastic and glass! You can warm room temperature, refrigerated and frozen milk! Best thing is that you can also directly put a frozen bag of milk in the warmer!
I also LOVE using my Deluxe Bottle Sterilizer! This ensures my little one always has a sterile bottle available - and this sterilizer accommodates narrow AND wide neck bottles!!
I cannot wait for Dr. Brown's to release more awesome designs on the Wide Neck Bottles!!

<span itemprop="description">Dr. Brown’s Options+ Wide-Neck Bottle is an excellent choice to use with your baby. I love the ergonomic hand grips on the sides, making it less likely for the bottle to slip out of your hands. The lid also has a finger inlet indentation that allows simple removal whenever feeding time strikes. I love that this is a wide-neck version, as the narrow one wasn't as easy to use (no grips). I love that the flow rate from the bottle nipple is steady when you tilt it (due to the vent system) and that there is no added air bubbles when your baby drinks. The 9 oz size is perfect for 6 month olds (holds about two feedings for my little one). My only complaint is that the nipple leaks milk from the bottle into the lid if the bottle is angled downwards. I really wish this would be fixed, as I have had multiple incidents of lost ounces of breastmilk due to this (my most recent being ~4oz lost while the bottle was in a cooler bag).

<span itemprop="description">I never write reviews but I'm so frustrated with these bottles that it drove me to write this to try to save another parent from my frustrations. Two words: THEY LEAK. I've tried all sorts of "troubleshooting" tips and searched online for "solutions" but nothing works. No matter what angle I tilt the bottle, despite ensuring the green disc is properly placed they still leak. I reheat in another bottle and transfer the milk over. I've even bought all nipple sizes (great, you managed to get more money from me). I like the idea of a glass bottle but I'll use my plastic ones in the meantime if it means no more wasted precious breastmilk.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We are loving this bottle!! Baby feeds from it without issue. Milk comes out at a good pace, she latches on to the nipple well, etc. The bottle size is much larger than our usual bottles, but still worked great!</span>

<span itemprop="description">My son got absolutely zero air for the first time during a feed, it didnt seem like he had to "work" for his milk either. This bottle looks like it would be complex to take apart to thoroughly clean and disinfect. Not the case, every single piece popped apart and off. Enabling to clean every nook and cranny easily. I would most definitely recommend this bottle. I just wish I'd had it when my son was newer and had the more extreme cholic symptoms.</span>
