The sterilizer is dishwasher safe, uses tap water and includes plastic tongs. This steam sterilizer sanitizes standard and wide neck Dr. Brown's bottles and their components, as well as most other brands. A custom molded tray fits 4 standard or 4 wide-neck baby bottles and their components. You can also use it to sterilize pacifiers, non-metal utensils, and other microwave-safe baby items. This micro-wave sterilizer effectively helps kill household bacteria. Tongs included.

It's very convenient to be able to use the microwave as opposed to boiling water and I like that this can be stowed away easily. The plastic is well made and very durable and once you use it a few times, it does get easier to remember how to place the bottles. I like that I can use this on the bigger bottles, little bottles, wide neck and glass bottles.

The only down side is I found not every time of bottle fits well in the sterilizer. <span itemprop="description">I got this product to free.. Perfect for our Dr. Browns bottles. I have not tried to use it with the glass bottles I have yet. Works as it says. I do find the directions a little confusing. You can fit four 8oz bottles and all their parts in one steam session.. we have also added a pacifier or two to the four bottles as well and fits fine. Depending on you microwaves power depends on the amount of water and time it will take. Great product.</span>
