She played this doll immediately when I opened the package. The size of the doll is about right for a 3 year old girl, the dress/clothes are colorful and my daughter loves to comb the doll's hair. I personally didn&rsquo;t like the cape or pants on this, they were really nothing special but we loved that the boots were easy to get on and off. The boots have a slit in the back which makes them easier to get off and put back on. This is the first fashion doll with such detailed feet, even had ankles, my kids laughed at me for being so excited about the doll&rsquo;s feet. Raya can&rsquo;t wear regular fashion doll tops or dresses because her upper body is molded plastic that looks like a top and underwear. Additionally, Raya comes with her sword that she can hold easily and her head has 2 tight braids in the center that the kids loved, but don&rsquo;t they will be there long. She was so excited to see this doll. The doll bodice is plastic and not removable, it is molded and painted on the doll. The pants are soft and are removable as are the boots. Her hair is long and soft, basically normal doll hair. Her sword is a dragon which is pretty cool. It fits into her hand so she can hold it but it&rsquo;s not super snug. We&rsquo;ve already lost and found it multiple times. All appendages are free motion though&mdash; a lot more motion than a typical doll of this kind. The dolls hair looks and feels like cotton candy. However, I did notice it shed a little bit. The clothes are nice and unique. She has a wonderfully happy facial expression and gorgeous eyes. The shoes are totally different than anything I've seen on similar dolls. They do fall off kind of easy if you take the tiny rubber bands off that hold them securely on. It's a great addition to our girls' doll collection!
