Not only is it our first Cars track but it&rsquo;s amazingly interactive for many age groups. The features are super cool where we can add extra boost to the track by using the windup tool, we can also make pit stops with a lever and attempt to launch cars into the winner&rsquo;s circle. This set comes with a full size Lightning McQueen car while other Disney Car models can also be used on the track (so far we&rsquo;ve had success with Sally, Jackson Storm, Chick Hicks, Paul Conrev &amp; Rich Mixon). Set seems solid and sturdy but takes up a good amount of table or floor space, and as a super bonus for parents - you DON&rsquo;T need batteries to operate it! He needed help putting it together but once it was, he played with it for hours.He got other cars out to race.he had his older brother help with the stickers. He had so much fun with it, but then the mechanism just stopped working. I suspect a gear cracked or something...we havent had a chance to try and take it apart. Not only does it have a unique winding mechanism that doesn't require batteries to operate, but there are a few different movable controls to operate that are fun and easy to use. We own a number of tracks from various brands but this one is a kid favorite! It is a parent favorite too for one simple, yet, highly appreciated design feature: It does not require batteries!! It is kid (or parent) powered! You simply turn the crank a few times to &quot;wind it up&quot; and once the car passes over a small pressure plate, the booster zips your car around the track. The car will zip around a good number of times before you need to wind it up again. There are two diverters, one that sends you to make a pit stop and one that sends you to the winners circle via stunt jump! It comes with Lightning McQueen and has a ramp that can be connected to other Cars sets. This set is a lot of fun for kiddos of various ages! My only complaint was the amount of stickers that I had to put on while my excited kiddos could hardly wait to get this thing put together. Assembling took about 20 minutes with no tools required. The pieces easily snap together, they are sturdy, and do not disconnect like some of the others out there. For the car to race, you wind the booster and let the car go. I love this feature because the child has to engage and is in control of the action. On a full charge, the car goes around the track about 15 times and stays on the track! The attention to detail is excellent with an on-ramp, starting point, control panal, and victory lane. There are several ways to engage aside from racing. My negatives are that it only comes with 1 car. Racing multiple cars would be even more fun. Also, the winding gear whips around quickly to create the speed. A curious child's hand could be hit when it rotates.
