Rapunzel has a beautiful face and really looks like the character in the movie. Her face is more cartoonish than a Barbie. Her legs are jointed so she can sit on Maximus. Maximus has a tail of real doll hair. I love that his mane is plastic because my girls are rough on equipment, so at least his mane won't be full of knots. Pascal perches on Rapunzel's arms or Maximus' mane. There is a clip that goes around Rapunzel's waist that holds her in place as Maximus &quot;gallops&quot; or &quot;flies&quot;, because in our house, he can do both. My daughter thought the fry pan brush was hilarious. Great little details with this set. Great toy, highly recommend.
