Her hair is so pretty and looks great even after she has been in the tub after it dries. Her tail fin is gorgeous it is a very thick foil and it changes colors when you move, and her tail is in sections so it moves like a real tail. Her tail also changes colors when you move her from warm to cold water. She is a very beautiful doll and my granddaughter LOVES her!!!</span>

Right out of the box she is totally different than other similar type mermaid dolls. Her bright red hair and other attention to details are amazing. Where she is different, her tail is flexible and you can actually simulate the motion of her swimming. Other dolls only sit or lay flat. Ariel's intricate leg design has allowed for good movement but she can not sit. The color change is minimal, however my 6 year old was in awe. Overall well designed and lots of fun for a child.</span>
