My toddler was given this doll and she absolutely loves it (currently goes everywhere with her). It&rsquo;s well made (albeit in plastic which ideally I try not to buy toys made of for environmental reasons) and the long black hair has been a treat for my little one to style. It looks and is clothed very much like the animated character. Pocahontas wears a shimmery gold and turquoise bodice / bodysuit that cannot be removed. But you can remove her shimmery gold skirt and moccasins. Her skirt is very eye catching and includes images of her raccoon and bird friends from the movie as well as leaves and vines. Pocahontas has long, layered black hair that reaches her thighs; my daughter likes to braid and style her dolls&rsquo; hair, so the length is important. This doll closely resembles her animated version, which is not always the case. The skirt of the dress is a shimmery fabric with intricate detailing.
