In addition, the “hood” popped off after some play time and my six year old was able to pop it back in place by himself pretty quickly. That meant that for the rest of the night, he felt confident and didn’t need me around. He LOVED the little light year figure that came with it, it really was the cutest little thing. The wheels were slightly difficult to pop down initially, but once we showed him how to do it, he caught on and it was no longer an issue. The plane itself feels very sturdy and well made, there were zero flimsy parts! All in all I was very satisfied with this item.
Bonus? It fits in my purse! So it has become the newest travel item!</span>

The XL-01 (Star fighter) is pleasantly decorated. Very good detail in the molding, as well as a good use of color. The packaging is very well done, very solidly sealed the toy inside. The biggest concern for me, is the size of the Buzz Lightyear figure, it is VERY VERY small (1&1/4" tall) yet it is rated at 4+ years old. I believe this rating is too low, should be at least a 6+ years old rating, because of the figure. That is the only negative. Overall, I believe it is a strong 4-star winner.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toy is fairly small-- the jet itself is about 7" and the Buzz Lightyear figure is only about 1.5" but the small size hasn't stopped my 8 year old from having a lot of fun with this toy and even bringing it along for a few car rides.
Pros: The wheels are retractable and great for takeoff and landing, although the wheels themselves do not spin. Also, the Buzz figure has movable arms and legs so he can squeeze perfectly into the cockpit.
Cons: The only (minor) negative for us is that since the figure is so small, my son has already misplaced it a number of times. Hope we can keep track of it long enough so this jet can continue to have a pilot. Even if the figure does end up lost, I think my son will continue to enjoy playing with the jet.</span>

The size is just right, not too large that it’s difficult to store, and not too small that it’s hard to locate like some smaller toys. This airplane has been passed around between my 1 year old, 3 year old, and 8 year old. They have all found their own imaginative ways to fly and play with it. My one dislike is the little figure that sits in the plane, his legs have to be put in a sitting position and then he has to be laid down to be able to close the cockpit window. I would prefer if he could just be left in a sitting position because it can be difficult to get it in the right position. Overall, a great toy that I definitely recommend!</span>

This plane is also well build, great size for my kids, sturdy enough to easy to clean. Details of the jet engineer and air intake was a nice touch. Down side of this toy is the landing gear's location is a little off making it tip over easily (not affecting play performance). The pilot for this plane is also very small, and it is also missing within the day.</span>
