They have cute multi-cultural characters, the details are amazing, and they are super sturdy! The colours are wonderful and my child was immediately drawn to playing with them and driving them around on the ground. My only dislike as a parent is that some of the corners of the cars were quite sharp and could cause little scratches if a child were to play roughly with them. After a week of play they are still in great shape and no paint coming off. The characters don't come out whcih bothered my daughter at first but now she doesn't care. The packaging is very straight to the point and simple. Each car was wrapped in recyclable paper, I have never seen this before for a toy. Happy to see that and not plastic to cause unnecessary waste. The cars themselves are very good quality, I cannot see them breaking anytime soon, because we all know how kids play. The features are painted on and can withstand lots of washing unlike stickers. The packaging was great and was all recyclable. They are rated 3+ but Im sure 2 year olds would love them too. The children had fun playing with them and used a plastic parking garage for them to ride around and on. They move nicely on carpet so on hardwood they would fly. They are a great size that fits easily in one hand, and are made with great quality and painted in vivid colours. My son loved wheeling each of them to see who can be the fastest, and they sure can go fast! He also loved looking at the details of each one, identifying what makes them distinct from each other and the unique aspects of each vehicle for their respective jobs. Overall, a lovely set that is a great tie-in to the Disney Junior cartoon show, and allows kids the opportunity to pretend to be a paramedic, a police officer or a fire fighter. They played with it for a long time and incorporated some of their other toys into a rescue scenario. It was adorable how they got along and played together. The product contained three emergency vehicles (fire, police and ambulance) with a character in each one from Disney's Firebuds. The toys reminded me of the ones you get in a McDonald's Happy Meal. While my niece isn't familiar with Firebuds, her dad is a paramedic and her uncle is a firefighter, so that made her slightly interested in the toys. I guess this toy would be ideal for a child who is familiar with the characters, and, based on its small size, would be good for a gift exchange or stocking stuffer, or as part of a larger gift. Most of the toy is made of plastic, but some of the exterior of the vehicles is metal. On their own, they toys are not very exciting unless you have a track of some sort to play with them on.
