The vehicles have a fair bit of weight to them and are very welll built I can tell they are going to last a while. My child absaloutly loves them and has told me on repeat there da best if I had any complaint or would only be that if this falls off a table on to yours or your childs foot it'll pack a punch to say the least. I'd definitely recommend these tot vehicles if your kids current ones don't match up to there durability test! My daughter was excited when she saw the package as she loves playing &quot;rescue team&quot; with her toys. Once the package was opened, the first thing she tried to do was remove the characters from their vehicles and was a little disappointed that they could not be taken out. Next, she tried pulling them back along the floor hoping to get them driving on their own, but the vehicles lacked this option as well. After only a couple of minutes, she set the Firebuds to the side and wanted to play with other toys. Eventually, she decided to try out the vehicles again and incorporated them into her game. The features are painted on and can withstand lots of washing unlike stickers. The packaging was great and was all recyclable. They are rated 3+ but Im sure 2 year olds would love them too. The children had fun playing with them and used a plastic parking garage for them to ride around and on. They move nicely on carpet so on hardwood they would fly. They played with it for a long time and incorporated some of their other toys into a rescue scenario. It was adorable how they got along and played together. The product contained three emergency vehicles (fire, police and ambulance) with a character in each one from Disney's Firebuds. The toys reminded me of the ones you get in a McDonald's Happy Meal. While my niece isn't familiar with Firebuds, her dad is a paramedic and her uncle is a firefighter, so that made her slightly interested in the toys. I guess this toy would be ideal for a child who is familiar with the characters, and, based on its small size, would be good for a gift exchange or stocking stuffer, or as part of a larger gift. Most of the toy is made of plastic, but some of the exterior of the vehicles is metal. On their own, they toys are not very exciting unless you have a track of some sort to play with them on.
