The setup is easy, and the result is lovely, but jellyfish sometimes get caught at the bottom of the device. I made the unfortunate choice to reach my hand into the container to dislodge the jammed jellyfish at the bottom of the aquarium, but unfortunately this caused it to overflow, sending water all over the place, which took a half hour to clean up. The jellyfish looked so real, graceful, and gorgeous. The neon accents on the jellies and the lamp having such varied lighting selections accessible by remote were awesome features. My partner and I were mesmerized, and so was our 8-year-old ocean creature fanatic who had the honor of proudly displaying it on his dresser. After one very gentle water change, the creatures became less lovely and fluid. After the second gentle change, their legs were getting stuck, their movements weren't fluid and easy, and they didn't look so real. You have to change the water as it eventually fogs and needs freshened up. I sincerely hope the company works on a better design for these jellies as it was a truly remarkable and interactive toy in the beginning and is now just okay, like I could see this being even bigger, an aquarium with more jellyfish. Also, be mindful as the lid does not attach and real water is used to fill. She followed the instructions and so we waited for the jellyfish to settle the n the middle of the lamp. It took about 5 days and several pushes down with a stick for them to start floating around when the lamp was on. Unfortunately, it only lasted one night and by the next day the blue jellyfish sank all the way to the bottom and it is still there. I gave up trying to bring it back up with a stick since it only lasts a few seconds before it sinks down again. Final thoughts? Fun and great concept. I won&rsquo;t rate this product low since maybe I received a defective unit. I just wish it performed as promised because we were looking forward to replace the nightlight with this.
