I gave it to my 6 year old son to test out.. he was initially excited to see the toy and it does look aesthetically pleasing. On opening the toy my son was confused on how to play with them, I looked at the box and also wasn’t sure even through there is a picture description. I tried to replicate what was shown in the pictures (pushing the arms and legs on the big minion in) and nothing really happened - so we tried rolling the big minion into the little ones and still nothing really happened. I think the arms and legs are supposed to kick and punch but they didn’t pop out again once pushed in so not sure if we just got it wrong. Having said the above, my son is still pleased with his toy and will use them for imaginative play.</span>

The packaging looks good and is appealing. The toy itself seems sturdy and well made. Attaching the two pieces was a little tricky and it felt quite stiff (positive - it was secure and didn't separate!) so I had to do this rather than my 4 year old. It will "zoom" slowly if played with on the correct surface, not much of a speed burst unfortunately. It would not move at all for us when on carpet. This meant that it could only really be played with as a simple figure, perhaps it would be better if it was in a set with other Minion's. We also found the wheels were very squeaky which was not pleasant to listen to when it was being played with!</span>

<span itemprop="name">Very simple basic toy</span>
<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The minions are well known franchise in my household so when we received this toy the kids were excited to see what it does.
The packaging looks appealing with loads of animated pictures on it. Very attractive.
On opening the toy was easy to click together. The toy is well made and is of good quality, not flimsy. No small parts so quite safe for little ones.
Thats when the positives end to our dismay.
The minion on wheels can we pulled back to let go and it goes forward on its own. This being the only thing it does means the kids were not entertained for very long. Also the speed that it goes itself isn’t the fastest.
Realistically it will get played with couple of times for a short period of time then forgotten about. Not very engaging and possibly too simple of a toy. Not very versatile and if I had paid for it I would have been very disappointed on wasting money.</span>

Hilarious Launching Action: Pushing down on Mel's head to launch him is a guaranteed giggle fit. It's simple to use, even for little hands, and sends Mel flying across the room with surprising speed.
Blasting Fun: Those three projectile accessories? They add a whole new layer of mayhem (in the best way possible) to playtime. My minions (both toy and real) love blasting pretend targets or each other (don't worry, it's all friendly fire!).
Collectible Coolness: The fact that there are five different Mega Minions to collect is a huge bonus. We're on a mission to get them all! It keeps the fun going and encourages imaginative play scenarios with the whole minion crew.
Overall, Launch & Blast Mega Minion Mel is a winner in our house. It's durable enough to withstand enthusiastic play, easy to use, and sparks tons of laughter. Highly recommend for any Despicable Me fan!</span>
