The students were not putting too much pressure on the crayons. It has happened to the teachers as well. I now have a small bucket full of "crayon hats". This has not ever happened in 15 years of teaching.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The color choices are strange. For basic coloring, there should be each of the 3 primary and 3 secondary colors, brown, white, and black. Then there should be light/pastel versions of each of these (pink, peach, pale yellow, light green, light blue, light purple, beige, grey.) Then there should be red-orange, yellow-orange, blue-green, red-violet. Then there should be maybe a darker pink color and a couple of other skin tones in addition to the brown/beige peach.</span>

Although not packaged in this order, the colors that appear on the top of the 24-count Crayola Crayons box are: Row 1 - apricot, brown, carnation pink, violet red, red, scarlet and red orange. Row 2 - orange, yellow orange, yellow,green yellow, yellow green, green, blue green, and cerulean. Row 3 - blue, bluetiful, indigo, blue violet, violet (purple, black, gray, and white. Don't you think I would make a colorful addition to this pack?
