With being in California during all the wildfires this year, this drop humidifier helps keep the smoke smell to a minimum in the house. I also use one for my plants. It gives you a green light when there&rsquo;s enough water to keep working and a red light when it needs refilled. One fill, even on the highest setting, lasts us nearly 24 hours. (My children are still too young for cold medicine, and the humidity helps with stuffy noses!) It works really well. I&rsquo;ve found other humidifiers tend to leave a lot to wetness around the device, and I feel as though this one blows the cool misty air out pretty far so that doesn&rsquo;t happen. It also holds a lot of water, so on a lower setting, I can have it going all night. I do find that you should make sure you empty it daily and clean it with some vinegar/water mix once a week, as getting the inside clean is hard otherwise (the top doesn&rsquo;t fully come off). While expecting our second child we replaced our eldest&rsquo;s humidifier and purchased another humidifier for the new baby&rsquo;s nursery. We run each humidifier every night. (Without fail, if we do not run the humidifiers for three nights in a row, the kids get sick.) I love the cute designs and color options provided by Crane. The humidifiers are easy to clean.
