After one week of using the Hippo humidifier, we found the bottom part to be leaking water. Will have to go back to the store to hopefully exchange. So far, it has been very quiet and relatively easy to clean (with vinegar and water, as recommended by manufacturer). My 3-year old loves the appearance of the hippo.
