We did find it a bit tricky to put together at first. I think the instructions were a bit tricky. Once we got it figured out it was a breeze! We made a bunch of different patterned bracelets in different colors. My only real criticism is the charms look really cheap. We opted not to use them. I think they are more appropriate for younger kids. My daughter is 11 so she really wasnt into them. All in all, so much fun!</span>

These come together faster than preteen kids change bffs. The unfortunate part is the clasps and charms are cheap plastic and easily break apart. So while this is fun and definitely entertaining to watch, its a one and done toy, never mind all the plastic waste from all the used bobbins. I would recommend it, but as a short time filler and not something that will last.</span>

This bracelet maker is super cool! I gave it to my 9 year old daughter to try and she absolutely loves it! I had to help her at first with the process, but after that she was a pro in no time. It's very easy to use and comes with many spools of thread to make bracelets or necklaces. It also came with some charms that could be added as well. So you just basically pop the spools onto their holders, thread the string through and crank a handle to braid. Very easy! When finished you just trim to size (it comes with a sizer), add stoppers and charms and .....you have a super cool fashion accessory! I think this would be great for kids around 8 and above, or even a bit younger with parental help. Would make a great gift too!
