I did find they nails were quite small , but would be perfect for 5 and under . The fun in the mystery boxes was great ! We ended up with lots of glow in the dark nails, a scented set and the double sided to to hold them on was quite strong. My 9 year old daughter was SO excited to receive this product. Her favourite part was opening all of the surprises. I like that she was able to put the nails on independently and didnt need my help. She was a little upset she didnt get the ones she wanted, but was happy overall with the selection. As a mother, I loved that the nails stuck on with stickers and not a strong adhesivemy daughter wished they stayed on a little better as she lost a couple as the evening went on. Overall, this is a fun little manicure set for kids that wont damage your childs nails and is something they can do with a friend without a parent having to help. My 10 year old daughter enjoyed unboxing it. It had these shapes to push through to reveal what was inside each spot. Unfortunately none of the nails really fit her fingernails, except her pinky nail, they were a bit too small. She became frustrated at times with the adhesive getting some of the nails to stick and stay stuck. The polish that is included is not to be used on human nails or skin, my daughter was disappointed she could not apply it to her own nails. Because of them not fitting and it having polish that couldn't be applied to your own nail, which some kids would do, I wouldn't recommend, unfortunately. The most fun my daughter had was opening the package. If you're child has smaller nails, than this Cool Maker GO GLAM Nail Surprise Manicure Set may be better for your child!! When opening the packaging, I didn't realize that it would be an unboxing experience -- my daughter loves those. The items were hidden behind easy to open cutouts in fun shapes like a guitar or pineapple in my set. I deducted a star because I found the packaging to be too busy with information. It was difficult for me to find instructions/figure out what to do, and took awhile to realize that the nails 'did things' like change colour or reveal a symbol when wet. In terms of applying, you attach a double-sided sticker to the nail piece than apply to the child's fingernail. It was easy enough to do (though you need to match the sizes together well -- might be better if these items were labelled so you can match them together easier) and the sticker stayed on strongly, but was easy enough to come off when needed. I think these press on nails would be best suited for pre-teens. My daughters (age 5 and 9) didn't like the length of the nails, and felt it was too grown up for them. The stickers and sparkle nail polish were all fun to use and decorate. The package comes with different sizes of press on nails to accommodate different age of the user so some might be wasted. Im my case, none fit perfectly. However, I see this as a toy so it didnt matter and the kid didnt seem to care. I googled to see how much these go for at stores but couldnt find this specific kit. I would buy again depending on price and when all my kids are old enough for this.
