Ive had other brands and either it constantly spills or my kids dont drink as much water as they could from them. But these Contigo water bottles are is great from toddlerhood onewards. My kid in grade school uses them, my twins in daycare uses them. They last yearsmy first kid had exactly 1 of these water bottles for daily use and it lasted almost 5 years before then handle broke. My twins drop and throw these bottles daily, and it never spills and hasnt broken. Its easy to wash and durable, its easy to sip as well so we found the twins drank a lot more water once we switched to these ones.
