You really can't go wrong with a dump truck that makes noises similar to the real thing. It is easy to use and understand all the features without scouring the instructions. I think the backing up sounds are cool, since you normally don't see that in other toy trucks. This definitely brings back memories, but these trucks aren't quite built like they used to be. My only wish is an on and off switch. It is plastic, but it&rsquo;s a firm practice that seems like it will be durable for a long time. My 3 year old loves this truck, she&rsquo;s been playing with it since we got it! It makes noise going forward and a fun backup beeping noise when rolling it backwards. The hydraulic noise sounds more like a howling wolf though. The main downside is that there is no main off switch, so if the button gets pressed at all, there&rsquo;s no way to prevent the noise. Now you can turn it off right away by pushing the button again. The lights don&rsquo;t always operate. The tail lights never light up and the front lights randomly work. However, pressing the red button on the side turns off the sound effect. My child loves loading the dump bed with different items and then dumping them at a different spot.
