Other play gyms are thinner, so they really work best on carpeted surfaces. I've been needing something to keep my baby safe and entertained for a few minutes while I'm in the kitchen cooking without him being in another swing or bouncer. This fits the bill perfectly! It was very quick to assemble, is lightweight, and can be easily stowed away if needed. Most noticeably, it&rsquo;s very pleasing on the eye, with a color scheme that is soft and calming (rather than &ldquo;loud&rdquo;). The play mat and pillow (which is perfect for tummy time!) are very soft and cozy for my little one, allowing for comfortable floor time sessions and added interest in the activity gym as a whole. It is truly plush! The removable toys are as adorable as they are baby-friendly and perfect for tiny hands. We especially love the pull-down rainbow that plays music, the rubber flower pot/crinkle toy, and the bunny. When your baby grows you can continue to use the mat for lounging time.
