My daughter plays with this salon for hours at a time with her imagination running wild. The little ponies are super adorable and come with lots of different accessories to style their pretty, silky hair. The salon itself comes with a washing station, a front desk for checking in, and even has a real mirror on the vanity! Their little clothes can even come off to be changed up sometimes and their hair is long enough to even be braided (which is my daughter's favorite part). This set is adorable and includes a two story salon with stairs. My kids set up the downstairs with the included the reception desk, hair washing station, and salon chair. The upstairs has the included vanity table with mirror and lots of cute little hair accessories. The set also comes with Sally, who is a pony with beautiful long hair, perfect for brushing, styling, and accessorizing. We already had several Calico Critters figures and my children had a great time including them in salon playtime. There is a lot of attention to detail with the accessories. There are brushes and hair accessories, hair products, makeup, a phone, curling iron, and even little hairstyle magazines for &quot;customers&quot; to peruse while waiting for their appointments. There were a few stickers to apply to the accessories and the building but that took only a couple of minutes. I do recommend an adult for that part. My 4 year old, 8 year old, and even my 11 year old have all had a good time playing both together and solo with the Stylish Hair Salon. Everyone enjoys setting up the salon and accessories for play, and my two younger children enjoy brushing, &quot;washing,&quot; and styling Sally's hair. This set has led to hours of fun for my kids and would make a wonderful gift for a Calico Critter fan. She loves all the Calico Critters and especially since she found their show on Netflix. She loves the kitties, but she really loves the little horse and her long flowing hair. It also comes with two hair clips. One that is pink and purple with a pink bow, and one that is green and yellow with a gold crown. My daughter absolutely loves all the little accessories and hair clips. She loves brushing her pony's hair and acting like the hair salon is also a little house. The set is a lot bigger than I expected from the pictures online, and it comes with a lot of pieces. My biggest complaint is probably that there are so many little pieces that are easy to get lost or misplaced. There is an age restriction of 3 years old and this is definitely not for little children that may put pieces in their mouths. This is a great little setup for any child that is really into the Calico Critters and who is especially into hair brushing and hairstyling. It was really fun for my kid to pretend to be a hairstylist and salon and use all those little pretend shampoos, conditioners, combs and all that kind of stuff to style the pony's hair. The doll house is cool to because it gives us room to put all the stuff. This kept my kid entertained for a long time so I can have some me-time. I also really love that it comes with 2 different colored hair extensions. Another thing is that it is really easy to assemble and unassemble. Overall, this is really fun, entertaining, and cool! It makes your kid's imagination and creativity grow.
