Mother, Avril knows how to put her mind to something, and she's very good with her hands. She's an engineer who builds the cars Vincent designs. She has a wonderful workshop, where she carefully builds every car so that it's just right to drive and ride in. Avril doesn't like the cold, so she always wears a soft, warm cape in winter. Father, Vincent is a car designer and he's very good at it. He's always coming up with cool ideas that everyone loves. He even designed sleds and bikes for the children. He's good friends with John Hazelnut Chipmunk, who's an inventor. Girl triplet, Rae is always cheerful and hardly ever cries. Boy triplet, Drake gets scared easily. He feels very nervous when he rides in the front of the sled. Girl triplet, Nelly always on the go. Everything she sees is exciting to her. If there's a noise while she's sleeping, she wakes up right away to see what's going on.

The color of the huskies weren't quite right according to my daughter. They should be more white and gray and these were more yellow cream colored. She is very particular about her dogs! Also the clothing had good detail but she said she didn't like the hoods on the kids as they got in the way and were frustrating to her. Finally she did like the sled and said that worked good. All in all she does like playing with them, just a few minor things that could be tweaked to make them perfect.</span>

She loves playing family and house, and when I saw this set with babies I knew she would love it. She really likes taking care of the babies and tucking them in and playing with them in her other doll sets. I wanted to expand her collection, and I thought this was a good value to get 5 figures. There's not much else to it. The little sled fits all 3 babies, and luckily that is all that comes with it. We have other Calico Critter sets and they always come with so many teeny tiny pieces that we end up misplacing them. I do wish there was something else, like extra blankets or accessories for the babies like bonnets or bottles, but my daughter makes do with what she has. Overall this is a great little set for adding on to other sets if you need more dolls to play with.</span>
