Unfortunately we lost the little Caillou early on. I thought it was the worst toy, bulky and the kids can't get the hat on and off by themselves. I almost got rid of it, but since it was missing pieces I thought we'd just keep it around. Now with 2 kids and a few years later, the kids love the net and pouring water into Caillou's head. They put everything down the slide and overall have actually enjoyed this toy a lot! Bulky, sticks out. Slide comes off after being bumped several times. You have to take off the hat to pour the water in his head, a bit weird even for a 2 yr old. The net accessory is boring. The little Caillou figure was loved but it comes apart and of course the parts got separated and lost. Water didn't come out of his mouth and it sticks out so far that she kept hitting it with her back. Used it for a couple days before taking it out. Our daughter loves Caillou, she wanted bath toys of him, this item is cheaply made and does not do what it promises on the box. Caillou was a little hard to recognize for him, since he is wearing a scuba mask, but he figured out quick. His head and body come apart so you can switch them with other characters sold seperately. My son thinks it's great when he can put him back together by himself. The only negative is Caillou doesn't float when he is on his &quot;raft&quot; Frustrates my son. Other cool activities are, big Caillou's hat is a water scoop and you fill up his head with water and the water spills out onto the waterwheel. Lots of giggles from that one! The slide and mesh catcher and super fun bonuses too. I recommend this for kids 2 and up, not 12 months and up.
