I love that it still has the same smell as the Cabbage Patch dolls that I got as a kid 20+ years ago. My kids absolutely love this doll, especially my youngest, who calls it her baby. I love that this doll is hand stitched. The dress and shoes are removable, which is nice if you want to get different outfits. The face is lightly scented. The hair is soft. However, based on experience with this doll, I would not recommend brushing it. The only issue I have experienced with this doll, is that the hair easily sheds.
