Wanting something that would help the bottle/breast transition and have decent anti-colic capability, we went all in on the Comotomo bottles. While it &sbquo;&Auml;&ograve;worked', the compromises we had to make were many and sizeable. So this review is written as a comparison to the Comotomo's:_x000D_ 1. While the Comotomo's look cool, the fact that the markings are not colored makes it *impossible* to read in anything but a well lit room. This Quark bottle, while still looking good, has very clear (and accurate) markings that are CLEARLY legible_x000D_ 2. To get the Comotomo's to not leak, you need to close the top on TIGHT. Problem is, unscrewing it takes monumental effort. My wife can't do it most times! With this Quark bottle, we have not had any leaks nor do we need to get a mini workout opening it_x000D_ 3. Perhaps the biggest issue we have with the Comotomo's is that they form a cloudy layer when not used for a few days. It's disgusting given how it looks/the odor. The company says its OK but yeait's not. Once again, with the Quark, it cleans super easy and looks pristine_x000D_ Obviously transitioning to the Quark after months of Comotomo use hasn't been easy, but that's not the bottles fault. I like the shape of the nipple, as it's a bit more friendly to breastfed babies, but it needs some work. When I initially held the bottle upside down it was spraying instead of dripping like other bottles I have. When I put any pressure on the nipple it also sprayed. We have the Dr Browns bottles but they are hit or miss with my baby. He likes these because the nipple is one he likes and he has to suck to get the milk out which is very similar to how he sucks on the breast so it's a familiar motion for him. The bottles feel like really nice weight plastic, not at all flimsy, so they seem like they will hold up to being dropped or going in the sterilizer. They definitely feel high end (and they do have a slightly higher price tag to match). There aren't one hundred tiny parts to clean, which is certainly appreciated. And the nipples are great for breastfeeding babies. They look pretty similar to the Lansinoh ones, but our baby seems to like these better. They are slow flow (which we use all the way through so they don't develop a preference for bottles), but I assume you could buy other nipples from the brand if needed. These bottles are nice but I probably would not recommend them mainly due to the pricing. At first glance I thought they were glass bottles but they aren't. They are a very nice plastic which makes them lightweight. I found that each bottle has a different flow, one being much harder to get the milk out than the other. I'm not sure if it's supposed to be that way. The bottles are very wide and although that makes for easy cleaning, it makes the bottles difficult to hold.
