The Build Your Own Excavator was a huge hit with him. He loves learning about construction vehicles and when he opened this, his eyes lit up. The kit included a carrying case, screwdriver, a person and all the parts necessary to build the excavator. My favorite part was the case &ndash; gives him a place to store everything without losing pieces. After showing him how to take it apart and put it back together, he was doing it by himself in no time. I was concerned that he wanted to play with it in the dirt. But - no worries were needed. The dirt did not bother any of the parts and it went together and came apart just as easy!
