My first impression was that &ldquo;Premium&rdquo; is the right word to use in the product name. This car seat looks and feels premium in almost every way. I have 3 kids, but wanted this seat to be the one to grow with my 16 month old. Her old car seat feels small and I question her head angle. Since the old seat only had 2 angle options for rear facing, I didn&rsquo;t have the ability to adjust. This Britax One4Life Premium seat has many more angle options, so I&rsquo;ve been able to set her in a very comfortable and safe position. Once she was in the seat, it&rsquo;s clear this One4Life Premium seat is roomier for her, and she just looks a lot more calm and comfortable. The materials used in this seat are clearly high end and premium. They look great, comfortable, and will be much easier to clean when it inevitably gets dirty. I especially like the ventilated parts of the seats. All summer I worried about my daughter overheating in our old seat. I even had to buy a clip on fan to cool her. This small feature just makes me feel more confident my little one won&rsquo;t be sweating too much on hotter days. Installing the seat was a breeze, though the seat is bigger and feels heavier than our other seats. I don&rsquo;t mind the extra weight since it feels very well built and safe, and we plan to keep the seat in the same spot for a long time. The top of the seat is a handle which really helped carry it around before installation. I love the one click technology. I was able to unbox, install and adjust all the straps for my daughter very quickly. It is also very easy to adjust the seat from rear to forward position. I used the anchors to clip into our car. They were easy to click onto the car but they don&rsquo;t have the button release I&rsquo;ve had on all my other seats. I wonder if this will make it more difficult to unclick later. (Though I&rsquo;m certain it will prevent any accidental anchor releases which have been a problem for me before with other seats) That said, the anchor belt was very easy to expand and tighten. It doesn&rsquo;t look like tangling will be a problem at all. The Britax One4Life Premium is incredibly handsome with its black knit fabric and brown vegan leather accents (which are also moisture and stain resistant, as well as washer/dryer safe!!). The kids tell me that it&rsquo;s super comfy, and I believe them&mdash;I&rsquo;m quite certain its more cushioned than any other in the truck! I chose to give this car seat a test run in the rear facing position, as both of my children are under 50lbs (my 4.5yr old is forward facing in her current seat as she&rsquo;s at its limit, but the One4Life can rear face to 50lbs!!). I also installed with with the lap/shoulder belt vs the LATCH system, as my children are over the 30lb limit and the belt install is Britax&rsquo;s recommended method. Pros: -Beautiful! -Easy clean fabric and cup holders (dishwasher safe!) -Great access for install -Comfortable at every stage! I find that many seats only offer the extra comfy inserts for newborns and then once the child outgrows the insert, the seat loses all cushion. Not the case here! The infant insert definitely adds A LOT of cushion, but even with it removed, the seat is still luxe. -I wasn&rsquo;t out of breath after the install&hellip;one of the easiest I&rsquo;ve done! -Not super slim, but doesn&rsquo;t seem incredibly wide either. I had this installed in a 3 across situation and this seat didn&rsquo;t compete for space. Granted, it was installed with 2 of the slimmest car seats on the market and we have a wide back seat. -9 recline positions and 15 point headrest/harness Cons: -It&rsquo;s heavy. Not the bulkiest car seat I&rsquo;ve used, but it&rsquo;s got some weight to it. I wouldn&rsquo;t recommend if you need to move it between cars often. -The recline level is not incredibly intuitive. You really need to keep the manual handy to figure out what&rsquo;s allowed in what position. -They don&rsquo;t make it in adult size! Super easy to install, just squeeze tabs and lift. No mystery or hassle. Quality material with soft cushion that keeps its form after washing. I used gentle delicate cycle in cold water and is quick drying even on extra low heat. Quick wipe down also works well and dries quickly. My 3 yr old sweats a lot and it has kept her very comfortable even in this southern 95+ degree heat. Best part: Say goodbye to the mystery bottom buckle hassle. This has a padded cushion that acts as a weight so when my kiddo sits she is not sitting on the bottom buckle and we all know it is not fun to fish for that after your kid is sitting. The harness is thicker too and does not twist easily. More importantly, my child cannot unbuckle the top clasp across chest. Kudos to the design team! The height itself is higher and my toddler loves to look out the window. The carseat width is a spacesaver - not as bulky and does not overflow to the middle seat of my car backseat. Ideal for passengers or in my case, baby #2's carseat. Plenty of legroom too for a growing toddler. Overall, great quality and well worth it especially as this will be used from baby to booster chair years. Removable baby cushion is included. My toddler won't be ready to be out of a 5pt harness for quite some time, but it's nice to know that when she is, it will be a simple switch using this seat. The One4Life Premium ClickTight seat is super-cushy, and it looks like the inside of a luxury vehicle; the soft vegan leather embellishments are an excellent touch, and my child was very comfortable with how padded and soft the seat is. This seat was, by far, the easiest car seat I have ever installed. The click tight installation was extremely easy, and I was honestly shocked by how perfect of an install I was able to get using it; there was no movement at the belt path at all, and I didn't have to fight with the seat at all in order to get the tight installation. Because of this, it was quick and easy to move the seat from my vehicle to my partner's vehicle. That is by far my favorite feature of the One4Life Premium ClickTight seat. My second favorite feature is the removable cup holders (which are dishwasher safe). My toddler loves to dump things in her cupholders, and the ability to remove them and completely clean them is excellent, and saves my partner's sanity. Overall, this seat is safe, extremely comfortable, very easy to install, and easy to clean. The britax car seat seemed heavier to carry, had less padding/cushion compared to my other seat. However, it is more breathable with the vented sides her back does not get sweaty. I think the material is high quality and love that the cup holders come out easily and are dishwasher safe. The straps are easier to buckle and do not get twisted. The Britax seat was not as easy to install as my other car seat the buckles took a little bit to figure out where they were initially hooked to inside the car seat. The latches also are not as easy to undo compared to my other seat. My favorite feature of the car seat is the colors and fabric it was made with and the vented sides. The vegan leather accents really provide a unique, premium look. But this seat is not all looks and no substance. Actually, this seat is quite substantial when it comes to weight. When I lifted the seat, it was noticeably heavier than my daughter&rsquo;s current convertible car seat. Though it makes it a bit more of a burden to carry and move, I&rsquo;m confident that this extra weight is due to the metal components that provide good protection. The click tight install process was quite easy once I understood what to do. The seat has a smaller footprint than the seat my daughter was using, which would be especially helpful for taller people driving smaller cars, as they&rsquo;ll have more room to move their seat back. It does sit a bit lower, which may annoy some kiddos (limited visibility out the windows). My daughter is a petite 4 year old (33lbs and 37in) who is still rear facing, with no plans to switch anytime soon. She reported that the seat was very comfy, but she may have slightly less legroom than she had in her other seat (this is not a concern and does not bother her). The padding on the straps and crotch buckle is nice, and it helps to get a good fit (my daughter would sometimes complain that the straps of her other seat were too tight). The only negative about this seat is the strap adjuster button is in a less convenient location than I&rsquo;d like. My daughter&rsquo;s other seat&rsquo;s button is more toward the top of the seat, but this button is tucked under the padding where the seat hits the seat of my car. This small gripe does not detract from the many positive features of this seat. Here are things I think might be good to know: I loved my Boulevard clicktight, ordered this as a 2nd seat because moving the Boulevard back &amp; forth was annoying. My kid is a smaller almost 2yo and is comfortable in the Boulevard rear facing but does have to bend his legs. The One4Life gives him several inches of extra legroom, but somehow doesn't take up any more space from the front seat! (Pic tries to show the footprint on the 2 seats is almost identical), both seats are set as upright as allowed for rear facing, and the front seats are on the same setback, not all the way back but comfortable for a 6ft driver in a Sorento. Thanks to the clicktight I got a rock solid install on the first try, but I did have to adjust it once to make sure the recline was within range. The carry handle is helpful. The ventilation panels on the seat are amazing, since in the hot summer the car ac blows at the back of the seat. The seat shape also allows really easy side access. Overall I'm loving this seat and so is my son. When compared the the Boulevard the only possible con would be that I think the Blvd is a more obvious install. It isn't easier, but if I needed to have a grandparent install the seat without being there the Blvd is a little more clear your first time. The One4Life has the clicktight latch concealed under the seat cover, and then the install is SO easy, so this is a really minor point, just thought it worth mentioning. Let me save you the hassle. The one4life has the highest weight limit, height limit, and TORSO HEIGHT limit. 19 inches. It's also comfortable, very easy to get a correct installation, and attractive as a bonus. There's no harness rethreading, the cup holders can go in the dishwasher, it's got a wide range of recline for your baby's safety/comfort, and fits in the average midsize sedan (I drive a 2016 jetta for reference). If you want to keep your child rear facing for as long as possible and also have a seat that will basically last their entire childhood, this is it. My 11 month old is 32&quot;, 27 lbs and has the longest torso of any baby I've seen. This seat is our best bet to keep him rear facing as long as possible, but I would recommend it for anyone. We have one in each car for him. He's comfortable and enjoys riding in it. Do yourself yourself favor and get this one. This seat checks off all my boxes. Easy to install, high weight limit for rear facing and forward facing harness limit. The quality of the fabric is very high end as well. Breathable and easy to clean. My kids stay nice and cool with the mesh vents on their sides. The best feature for me is the clicktight mechanism. I am able to install this seat RF or FF in less than 2 minutes. I also like the tether design using a v shape, only one of its kind. I have to reinstall it every few days because pulling the strap to tighten the chest straps moves it so much. I've referred to the manual and installation videos and I feel like I have it installed correctly but it just keeps moving. I have it rear facing and it seems to pull the seat up and towards me so it's crooked on the seat. I'm not sure if it just doesn't work with my car or if it's a bad car seat. I hate it though and if I could return it I would. Definitely not worth the price and the hassle. Also, the fabric is washable but it's such a pain to take it off and put it back on. There are 7 different pieces to take off and it took me 45 minutes to get them all back on properly. I went for the other brand seats and was not finding the most important features of all. Which in my opinion is proper installation so that the seat will protect during the event it is need. Not only does this seat install in minutes with easy of effort it has so many great features for baby and parents. The padded cushioning is over the top for comfort, shoulder straps with no rub pad protectors that don't move, three different adjustments for the between the leg buckle, whole seat recline with proper guidance for neck support, cup holders you can remove to wash, great style and fabric, the no thread straps using adjustable headrest control, the straps stay open wide for loading and don't tangle, chest clip stays in place with woven harness fabric. I could go on and on, rebound bar for protection and extended rear facing seat time. How about accessories to buy like a new cover as they grow. I could not find the quality in any seat on the market besides this one. I bought a very high brand infant seat that I never made me actually go over the product and feel great about it. Britax has completely made me a loyal customer. It looks and feels super safe and secure. The padding itself is so soft and completely removable and washable (yes!). We all know how important that is with babies and toddlers. I also love that it has dual cup-holders. Now my toddler has room for his water and a snack. ;) One of my favorite features is the 9 levels of recline. Especially if we have another baby, and use this car seat with an infant, it's crucial that it be reclined more. As far as the installation goes, it was pretty straightforward. The ClickTight installation is different than we are used to, so it took my husband 5-10 minutes to read the instructions and figure it out. The car lap belt actually goes inside the seat. Now that we have installed it once, the next time should be much easier. The biggest drawback for this seat is the size - it's quite large! We have it installed on a bucket seat and it works just fine. But if you're searching for a seat to fit in a smaller car, this probably isn't the one for you.
