Easy to understand instructions. Our 4 yr old loves it!Cute game. To be honest, the arrows are a little confusing, but we just sort of made our own rules to it. The directions were vague unless I somehow missed something important. But only for the direction of which way to go. The board is adorable and a cute concept where it spins. The concept of the game could have been good, but the construction was so cheap. The box didn&rsquo;t even make it through one day. It is played in two stages: stage 1, take turns matching pictures on the cards to create your own game board, and stage 2, use the spinner to advance across the paths you made toward the finish line. For the youngest of players, it doesn't require reading or counting, only picture matching and color identification. A great experience for the tiny tots to play along. As a parent playing with older kids, you can add in strategy ideas, counting, probability, etc, to make it more challenging. I really enjoyed playing with my seven year old, and I could see how it would be a great family activity to include much younger kids as well. First off, it really needs a better storage box, as the box it comes in is not only too large, but it doesn't keep closed and the game pieces fall out of it. Also, the domino cards really should be made of a thicker material. They bend easily and also don't stay put very well. The slightest grazing of a child's arm and the card moves askew. Too much time is spent in the game trying to keep the cards in their proper spot. Also the instructions could be more explicit (Do you have to go down the wrong path if that's the nearest card with the color you have to land on? Does it matter where you land on the domino? The first square, the second, the middle?) On the plus side: Visually, the game is very appealing. The first part of the game is matching cards to create the games path and the second part is spinning the wheel and moving your character until someone reaches the finish line.
