So the chance to add the Bluey beach house to our collection we were over the moon. When my little one saw it he couldn&rsquo;t wait to get it open and play especially because we were stuck indoors because of the rain and he was feeling slightly poorly. This really picked him up and made his day! He had so much fun playing and it&rsquo;s amazing watching his imagination run wild. What an amazing addition to our Bluey play set collection. He did have a few questions like where do mum and dad sleep? And where&rsquo;s the sink to wash hands after the using the toilet? But we improvised using the shower and the sofas turned into beds. He loves playing with the beach cabin and pretending he was off to the beach for a few nights! I think it&rsquo;s also amazing as you can encourage beach safety and water safety! We absolutely love this Bluey beach cabin toy! Its already a top favourite and has been played with every day since we received it. It's really well made, interactive and imagination inducing. Parts of the toy are the exact same as on the episode and they really enjoyed pointing them out when they saw them. We have been setting the beach cabin up on play sand a lot for an authentic beach feel, and my little boy loves this and also filling up the pool with real water. It&rsquo;s a great little play set, with lots of lovely accessories to help little ones reenact their favourite Bluey scenes. Such great details with opening cupboards on the kitchen and little pull down beds, and when everyone gets hungry Dad can spark up the bbq and cook some sausages! In fairness, it is actually one of the better kids cartoons and has lots of relatable characters, morals and storylines for the kids and grown ups to enjoy, so we were super excited to be chosen to test this one! The playset comes with Bluey and her adorable goggles ready for the pool, and also plenty of free accessories such as sofa, sink unit, rubber ring etc. that can be placed how and wherever you want to facilitate your make believe roleplay. The girls loved making their cabin their own by decorating it with the supplied stickers, immediately transforming it into a unique, bespoke toy that matched their style and harnessed their creativity We also enjoyed discovering all the interactive features; the TV that opened into bunk beds, the opening sink unit, opening BBQ and of course, the opening toilet - which has featured heavily in every roleplay so far - could well make an episode based off of that alone We really liked the realistic water grooves on the pool - means you don't actually have to fill it with water for the effects - although of course, it is a great opportunity for water play if you like it as all the pieces are plastic and won't get spoiled :) It is a nice sized playset to play with at home or even on location at the beach! Unfortunately as this is our only Bluey toy, it was disappointing that it came with just one character as it limited our story-telling potential and made it difficult for more than one child to play with at a time. We especially missed Bingo, as the girls like to pretend to be the two sisters together. At this price point, it is my opinion that more characters should be included with the playset e.g. the Heeler family, so that episodes can be recreated without immediate further purchases (and the Bluey character sets available are not a cheap add-on). There are lots of fun small accessories with this playset, but they are all loose and there is nowhere to store them as the beach cabin is open-fronted, so they are prone to getting misplaced over time The interactive elements are great, but it's worth noting that the bunk beds and cupboard doors are a bit stiff to open, so the children struggle to work these on their own which is a shame - I am hoping that with use, they will loosen up, but if not it is worth not fully closing them to facilitate independent play. They had great fun. The two items they played with the most were the swimming pool and the toilet which they found very amusing! The actually cabin did not interest them too much they preferred the accessories. The cabin is quite flimsy and unless you lean it again something it is easily knocked over. The cabin had two beds in it. The top bed we could easily get open but the bottom one we had to get something to open it as could but do it with fingers! Also as it had two beds I feel it should have come with two figures not just the one. Also the cardboard sand scene could be utilise if it had two cardboard stands at the back so it stood up!
