I decided to give him this Melissa and Doug Blues Clues &amp; You Wooden Magnetic Picture Game. I'm so glad I did. He loves this game. He always wants me to play the game with him, and change the backgrounds. He had so much fun playing with all the different pieces. She was very excited to play with wooden magnetic puzzle game. There are lot of backgrounds and kid can stick the magnets of Blues and Joshua.. Its very easy to carry while travelling or in grandparents home. I would highly recommend this toy. The only downfall is the cards you put on the board do not stay up on there own unless you use a magnet. I would recommend some clip attached to top of the board so it hold the cards in place. My 2 years old liked it as well. He is a huge fan of the show and definitely enjoys the variety of magnets. That being said, there are a few design flaws that could easily be improved and in doing so would easily make this a 5-star product. I wish it came with some directions as I wasn't sure if the magnetic board should be propped up or be laid down. Also, it took a day or two for me to realize every corner had blue elastic that helped keep the board down. Overall, this is a product that kept my son's attention and would be very easy to travel to his grandparents with. My 5 year old son loves Blues Clues &amp; you. This magnetic picture game kept him occupied for about 45 minutes the first time he used it. To use it: Set it up by placing the wooden magnetic board into the base and then lay a paper scene against the board. He knew a lot of the scenes that were offered. Then find all the little magnet pictures and place them into the scene with your imagination or use the provided picture key to copy the scenes exactly. The only part that was frustrating is that the scene photo is slightly heavier than a thin piece of paper so when you put it up against the magnetic board it just wants to fall. The board did not have a far enough backwards angle to have the paper scene sit and stay properly. It just wants to fall over forward. If they would have angled back the magnetic board more it would stay. But as soon as you put the magnets on it works pleasantly. I love how easy it is to store. It is simple enough where my toddler can sit and play without needing my help which is amazing for parents. I would recommend it overall as it has kept him busy and having fun long enough to be worth it!
