In order to use this arena you must have the BeyBlade battle stars. Without them it is just a big plastic box. The arena itself is pretty flimsy and not very well designed. If a kid was to lean on it at all it would crack and break and be unusable. The storage for this is not very convenient either. It is very large and doesn&rsquo;t fold up or break down at all making this a big and bulky item that has to stay out. It is also very flimsy and delicate so the odds of this lasting a long time are very slim. I wouldn&rsquo;t recommend this stadium for your battles. I feel you can do the battles without this building. It is just a place to keep your players in a designated area. Save your money in this game. Beyblade X spin at a much higher speed (especially when using things like the winder launcher), and as such, the force of them hitting each other often will send one or even both beyblades flying. The fact that this doesn't have a cover on it is gonna definitely result in some interesting injuries to say the least. The way the extreme line has the gear cogs go all the way down to the bottom vs. only having them at the top (like on the covered stadium that comes in the starter kit) has an extremely detrimental effect on the spin of your beyblade, even going as far as damaging the pieces of your bit. However, it can be hard when the blades go running off, and we have to go find them constantly. That's why this Beyblade Stadium is amazing. Not only does it give us the perfect arena to fight them in, but it makes playing them easier and way more fun! It is pretty sturdy and the perfect size to store all your Beybalde accessories. It's also the perfect size to store and put away when not in use. This whole set has been very entertaining for ALL of my kids that ages range from 5-14!
