The stadium itself was easy to put together. In Fact our 9 year old did that himself. The directions could use some editing. We like how big the stadium is, it's plenty big enough for him and his sister to play without being in each others way. Which means, less fighting!! My cousins son had Beyblade years ago and he had loved it, so I was looking forward to my son having Beyblade also. Because this is my first experience with this toy, the directions on putting it together where a bit challenging until I realized some of it was already put together. If you are already currently using Beyblade, then this is not an issue. What helped me with the directions, was the box it came in. It was helpful for putting together both the stadium and the blades to look at both together. After that it was easy. It is really fun to whip out the cord and see them go flying. It is a super fun toy and really like it. It works great and really like the colors and set up of this one. It does have smaller pieces so be careful playing around young children. The Set includes the stadium battle field, launchers and spinning tops. The tops can be interchanged if wanted for more battle styles. The stadium doesn't take much to put together but the spinning tops can be difficult to get together initially. You do have to load the launchers just right to get them to stay on good enough to spin quickly to launch. When you get the hang of it, it's fun to watch the Beyblade battle. My kids can play with this for hours (without fighting over who wins or loses). It ends up being pretty even unless you're skilled in launching the top.
