<span itemprop="description">The lunch bag is nicely constructed but not exactly what I expected. An older Bentgo had special pouches to hold the 2 cold packs. This one has zippered pockets but they are not as well insulated so they can get wet from the cold packs. I do like the Dino design and the handle and carrying straps.</span>

A much bigger issue for me is the size of this lunch bag. It’s huge. It will fit the Bentgo kids lunch box plus the Bentgo kids water bottle inside it, not even counting the external bottle holder. It would be great for picnics, but it’s unwieldy for a little kid to tote to school. The clip is also way too stiff for a little kid to unclasp.
My kiddo’s school puts the lunch bags on a cart to haul to the cafeteria, so the 2-in-1 backpack wouldn’t work. I got the regular Bentgo backpack, and this lunch bag will fit inside it but it takes up the entire bag. I’d love if it were about 2/3 the size.</span>
