I do think that this will be an incredibly popular toy this year although having seen the price I feel that it may be outside of some people's price tag. With that said it's clearly very well made and the additional add ons are well priced. I would have liked to see the option to grow a collection of different beasts from one main station (I'm not sure if this is something that's already possible. This toy is pretty epic and watching his face and his friends at the end was very special. The instructions are brilliant and easy to read for kids to do this completely independently. This is a unique and clever new toy which will fascinate and entertain kids of all ages. It is fairly complicated to understand when you get started and the kids are just desperate to get to the reveal, so read instructions before you get going! There&rsquo;s also a lot of packaging which is why we haven&rsquo;t rated 5 stars also not sure it is a long lasting toy which will be used and used, but I think this is where the refill packs may come in! The excitement my son had during the entire process from adding the ingredients to the beaker, to the fog, the sounds, the lights, the shark coming out was just amazing. I feel like this toy is just on another level... and you can even purchase refill packs to do it all over. It's great that can create the extra weapons as part of the experiment. My one down side is Once you've done it once that's it. The excitement does fade a little. Whilst you can buy refill packs uts a shame you can't buy the extra reptile/shark packs to do the experiment again for a new surprise. I've given it 4 stars solely based off the price for it to only be done once. Great item for kids. Loved that it had steam and moved and roared. IT also had music kids thought funny. Good item. Cool lights and cool vapor comes out his mouth which is a real show stopper. Drip bottle included to put the drops in the top of his head. This toy is BIG and even cooler because it&rsquo;s a nice large size. Finishes are nice and it works well out of the box (although you need batteries). It would make a great gift. He moves arms and lights up and makes lots of cool noises. What&rsquo;s not to love in that? Cons: this sucker is LOUD and the volume is on the remote so you can&rsquo;t really control that. He had so much fun with creating the beast, adding the ingredients, turning the &lsquo;heat&rsquo; up and eventually throwing the switch to drain the creation tank to reveal the beast. The chamber can be repeatedly used by resetting it, and with refill packs you can creat new weapons etc for your beast. I love the way when the toy is revealed it even had fake smoke to add to the drama. The beast is hard plastic and suitably beast like, it has a spin fighting movement good for knocking over other toys, lights up and makes a good beast like noises. There was a couple of things that you need to make sure of first before using the toy. You need 6AA batteries, they need to be fresh otherwise it might not work properly. Second, before giving it you may want to check it out and read the instructions, I needed to reset the chamber as it&rsquo;d been thrown around in the mail, the chamber liquid was low and you could see the beast. That said this is a nicely made toy, and amazing fun, my son (10) really has been having a ball with it. The instructions were easy to follow and he loved reading about the different experiment ingredients that you add. The Fingerprint Scanner and Heat Dial were fun to use when adding the different ingredients. The sounds, lights, bubbles, and mist were really cool to see when doing the experiment to create your beast. We followed the instructions to put the chamber on a baking tray for easy clean up, but it really wasn't messy at all. The Emergency Lever was exciting to use to reveal the beast! My son was very excited to get Chaos Cobra! The beasts arms and legs are very easy to move and manipulate. The firing weapon attaches to the beast&rsquo;s arm and it is easy to use to shoot the dart. The sounds the beast make are really cool and my son loves playing with it! The only hiccup we had was that when we initially opened the box and removed the printed paper wrap from the chamber, the internal green liquid was not fully filled to the top so we could see which beast we had. We were able to easily reset the green liquid after completing the experiment though. The beast and weapon stores easily inside the chamber. Emptying the chamber and cleaning the mixing cup were really easy! I can&rsquo;t wait to get more Bio Mist, and you are still able to play with the beast and chamber together in two Free Play Modes without it.
