A lot of low end torque, bombs through grass, etc. The first time we took it on water, it performed great but then would not charge afterward. We had the charging port closed tight, etc. but obviously &quot;water resistant&quot; means &quot;don't actually use this in water even though we advertise it that way.&quot; It didn't get submerged or anything, just ran on top of the water. Now it won't charge and it's dead. Its the highlight of their toys at the moment. its perfect for young kids as they aren't that coordinated with controls so the fact that it can go on the grass, over puddles, or on the pebbles/wood chips that playgrounds are full of is just such an innovative idea. If once winter comes it actually works on snow that will honestly be pretty special as its hard to find things to do in winter these days. so many children don't play outside as we did when I was a kid so anything that I can use to get my kids excited about going outside to play is a win for me. It is one of the most powerful kids RC we've ever used. I was initially a little worried because it seemed so light weight i wasn't sure how it would hold up to rugged driving. But my kids drove it through fields, over bumps, jumps, rocks and water. They crashed more than a few times and there isn't one scratch or dent to it. My kids favourite feature was how it can drive through water. As a mother i loved the built in charging cable, no looking around the house for it when needed. With a love of Batman and RC cars they couldnt wait to get this toy outside. Today we took the Batmobile out for a spin on some different terrains to test it out. The vehicle drives pretty well, almost too well, on grass, rocks, dirt, even sand at the playground. We didnt get an opportunity to drive on water, but Im sure it would do so successfully. This little thing really zooms, but the speed combined with its light weight finds it very often tumbling over upside down with the inability to turn itself back right side up again. You can create a decent distance between the remote and the vehicle for being a childs toy. The beeps that the remote gives off when the vehicle is out of range are handy for the kids to know to bring the car closer.
