It comes with a host of mix and match clothes and accessories, a closet setup with a laundry chute and basket, chair, and other items to help Barbie get ready for the day, and most importantly, a Barbie doll! Since I have two girls, we got out a Barbie doll we already had so both girls could enjoy the set together, and that has worked perfectly. We have found this set is great for individual or sibling play, and we are able to fit two dolls in the case and close it all up when play is done. That is one of my favorite features of this set&mdash;it closes up nicely and is easy to store or transport, making it ideal for both play and storage. I don&rsquo;t love to have little pieces scattered all over the house, and of the many play sets we own, this seems to have one of the best designs for encouraging kids to pick up all the little pieces, organize them, and store them for future play. I would highly recommend this as a starter set for a girl who is just starting out, as it offers lots of ways to play (clothes and accessories for dress up, the structure for play and storage, and a doll that can also be stored within the set). I waited until she came over to open the box. She looked at everything on the box before even opening it and asked me, &ldquo;Is this in there? Is this in there?&rdquo; I could tell she was excited, so, the packaging is wonderful. I was so glad that a doll was included, but in handling the doll, it seemed kind of cheaply made, compared to other Barbie dolls that I have had in the past. The closet is two feet tall, which is nice, and also wide enough for two children to play with. The fact that part of the closet pops up, gives the closet its height. She did have trouble hanging things in that space provided in the pull up part. My granddaughter set up everything, by herself, and had so much fun doing it. I thought the hamper chute was not necessary. When I showed my granddaughter how it worked, she watched and then that was it. It didn&rsquo;t really interest her. I liked how many hangers were included (but it would be nice if the hangers had slits on them to hold straps better) and that there were lots of places to store accessories and clothes. I felt that some of the accessories were cheaply made (the necklace and especially the whistle necklace). Although there are probably 400+ possible outfit looks, I feel like that is deceiving. It also says there are 36+ pieces, which is true. To be honest, after seeing both numbers on the box, after opening the closet and seeing what was inside, I was disappointed. I liked the stand that you attach to the doll to make her stand. My granddaughter did not think that that was what that piece was for. (It isn&rsquo;t pictured on the box being used like that) I demonstrated it for her&hellip;she didn&rsquo;t want to use it! I did like how the closet packed up to be carried elsewhere. I felt it was well made and very durable. I also feel like the closet, itself, will provide little girls with hours of imaginative play. I watch her one day a week, and the Barbie closet is always the first place she goes. There is no instructions in the box so was hard to figure out how to open it (which is by lifting the heart in the front up) the closet does have a part that lifts up by pulling out slightly the pink little button this is a little hard to remember for my 3 year old how to do it so she needs assistance with that part so it is kept up when she is playing with it. She has played with this non stop and was super easy and convenient to take to her grandparents to play with. She&rsquo;s played with it everyday since it arrived. It came with a Barbie, four different outfits with shoes to match and so many other cute accessories. It also came with a chair for the desk, a cute little laundry basket and hangers for the outfits. She really likes that folds closed and she can keep all her stuff in it and she can take it anywhere. It&rsquo;s also really cute and brightly colored. The laundry shoot drop is my daughters absolute favorite part!
