She has fun styling the hair and it's a good way to learn how to style her own hair. I think the main attraction would be the hair and comb the other accessories are nice extras but are a little small in size and are easily lost. I think the toy hits the mark for any girl between the age of 4-6. A great doll to add to any child's collection. Lol anyways i love that it was brought back and kept the style but used the newer barbies but wish the old quality was still there too like the bendable knees but no joints were fun for me at least though my kids prefer newer style barbies better. My girls loved styling and brushing barbies long hair. Immediately out if the package the hair needed to be brushed. It was tangled and rough feeling. Nowhere near the silky smooth like the pictures show. As we brushed it, the hair just kept falling out more and more. My daughter ended up putting the hair in a braid to keep it manageable.
