His hair is bleach white, and gelled down pretty solid - it is the classic barbie hair just gelled really good. His shorts have a 1 snap closure, his shirt is an open shirt that does not close. His Surfboard is blue with holders where you can put Ken's feet in them like he is surfing or you can put his hand/arm in one so he holds the surfboard. Ken has moveable joints at his shoulders, elbows, knees, and hips. His head also moves. He has a smile showing his teeth. Ken surprisingly does not have the summer tan like other Ken dolls, he is a little paler - I believe this Ken doll applied sunscreen thoroughly while surfing. My boy loved playing with it during bath time. It is easy to put on and take off shoes and surfboard. The arms and legs are very flexible to move making Ken have many poses. The slick back hair looks great, but that changes once it comes in contact with water as the &quot;gel&quot; washes off. But, nonetheless the hair still very soft.
