This new generation Skipper doll is great and emphasizes the importance of learning. Since she got the doll, my daughter has been learning a lot more about space, planets and such. It&rsquo;s refreshing to see what a single toy can actually do to a kid. She loves space and the solar system. However the doll is limited in its movements so she has not been very interested after the first few hours. Skippers arms are in an awkward position and her legs stay straight. I really like that Skipper looks &quot;Cool&quot; but conservative unlike other dolls marketed to children. Skipper looks trendy and promotes science. My child was able to relate to Skipper and felt proud to share with many family members of her recent gift.
