Only critique is I wished the arms and legs of Barbie were bendable to be able to sit or put her glasses on. I homeschool my children and they are able to set it up the way we have our set up at home, so I would say it's a great toy no matter what type of schooling they receive. My daughter loves that the backpack is open enough at the top to put things in it as well as being able to put things in the lunchbox. We also like that the desks have a spot to put the juice box so it stays on the desk and doesn't constantly fall off. My daughter also likes that the backpack can fit on the little girl. My son is very interested in space and with the Mars rover landing recently the topic of the set is great. She really likes it. She was confused as to why it came with 2 desks but only 1 student but luckily she had a couple little dolls she was able to use. She is now able to identify the planets in the solar system, which I think is pretty cool. The shoes are easy to get off and on as are the dresses. The little juice cup, lunchbox, glasses and telescope are cute additions to the set. I was hoping for some more interesting packaging, a web link, or even a little booklet. She asked, I explained it and she was done.
