I do not think my child would have enjoyed playing with just one. Having two to be able to play against eachother was a big win in having these guys. The soccer ball is cute. I think having the ball bigger would have been better. It is not easily lost, just harder to strike with the very stiff legs of the doll. The soccer theme is just so spot on! I would love to see more soccer and sport themes (formal request for lacrosse!). My son played with this doll as if he was playing soccer. It has been sturdy and no parts have come off. My 8yr old daughter loves getting to open the boxes and introducing them to her current village. She loves being able to get the clothes on and off easily to trade and play dress up with her other Ken dolls. She was really disappointed this time however, because this Ken&rsquo;s clothes were much smaller than the other male Barbies in her village. Her favorite activity with this specific doll is to have him kick the soccer ball around with other &lsquo;friends&rsquo;. The soccer shoes are soft and have built-in pretend cleats, and the soccer shoes are black. The socks are soft and easy to remove, and the tops have rubber elastic sewn to help the socks stay in place. The shirt has a soft low-profile hook and loop fastener on the back. I tested to see if my cat's hair would adhere to the hook and loop fastener, and it did not. The shorts are simple and have elastic around the waist. The Ken doll is lightweight, and the head is soft and flexible. The head and arms rotate around. The soccer doll's torso does not rotate. I wish the Ken soccer doll could hold the soccer ball. He is a lovely doll for collection or an aspiring soccer fan/player.
