<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This barbie play set is very well detailed and has several small accompanying pieces nothing unlike other sets. We did have a bit of trial and error in figuring out the cold water getting the cups to change color. In helping my 6 and 4 year old get it going it ultimately required putting ice cubes in the water and the cups eventually changed, they are super small which allowed on a little water and likely more on the table when I didn't pour it. The kids played with it for an hour or so..the barbie doll was good and the smoothie bar is solid piece as well..my 6 year old liked it, but the 4 year old wanted to play more its a good addition to a large collecrion, but to have some standalone pieces for play, it may not be the top 5 in her collection.</span>

I personally love that the accessories actually snap into the counter, so they aren't scattered all over the house (as are most Barbie accessories). The "color change" instructions on the box were a bit confusing, as it looked like you needed to use both cold & warm water, but didn't explain what was what. It turns out that cold water should turn the smoothie cups pink, and warm should turn them clear again - but we were only able to make it work with a chip of ice, or by putting the cups in the freezer for a few seconds. While this caused a minor frustration initially, it really doesn't detract from the product. Lots of fun!</span>
