My young kids are currently obsessed with animals and enjoyed being able to pretend to groom them with this set. I feel it gives them a chance to take on everyday roles and explore new career paths at an age appropriate level. As with most little people toys, it is sturdy enough to withstand my less than gentle 3 year old and 15 month old as they work on learning to play a little more gently with their toys. The movable hair dryer and sounds that the set made when the little person was moved side to side was a hit, as was the brush and it&rsquo;s ability to be freely used rather than attached to something limiting its range of motion. My kids enjoyed the part where the roof opened and repeatedly put the animals down the shoot. Personally, I didn&rsquo;t understand the point of that except that it gave them something else to do. The top area with the animal food sticker and fire hydrant was adorable and offered more creative opportunities. The animal house was also a great add on to it and a nice area to use to swap animals out. However, I feel there were some missed opportunities with this set. I noticed that while there was a hair dryer noise it was when you moved the little person so my son kept making his own noises when he used the actual hair dryer. I feel it would have been better if the actual hair dryer piece made the noise instead. I would have liked to see an animal food and water bowl separate instead of being a sticker on the house but I understand that those might be a choking hazard since this set is made for toddlers. Some real fur to brush would have been cute, but again that might be difficult to design safely with the age range this is designed for. With that being said, it was a cute set and entertained my kids for a good 10-15 minutes which isn&rsquo;t bad for their current attention spans. I was so thankful the box was easy to open, and getting the toy out was quick and simple (sometimes packaging can be so frustrating, causing a fir from the little one who doesn&rsquo;t understand the delay, but this was wonderful!). My little lady immediately grabbed the animal and started placing them in the tub and the grooming station. She knew exactly what to do with the character, and moved the toy to create little spa sounds and music to play. We love the little brush and it took some time to realize there is a hole at the top to store the brush in. The sound is good quality but the sounds themselves are lacking. It's just not the same excitement as other FP Little People sounds. We're confused by the slide. How do the animals get up there and why do we just drop them down? They're not really sliding at all. The hair dryer is cute but it feels like it will easily break off. When you slide the girl across the front it turns the chair around and bounces the animal in the tub. It's just not really exciting. It's also hard to place the animals into and remove them from the tub. It's a cute toy if your kids love animals!
