The shoes are really cute if a little plain, but I love the way the unfinished hems and the skinny cut on the pants add details that speak to his personality. The hair is to die for, I love his undercut and that his hair is still long enough to style, he would definitely have caused a fight in my household if this design was around when I was a kid. I have mixed feelings about the packaging, though I do appreciate that it's a zippered pouch so you can keep the parts all together for fewer &quot;where are Ken's shoes?&quot; meltdowns. The simplicity of the parts mean that I don't feel nervous giving him to my 5 year old nephew, who is currently at the mercy of an older sister when it comes to playtime. We really like the reusable packaging also. He reminds me of David Rose. His hair style is modern and fun. The one down fall of the new Ken is that you cannot change his hair style because it is glued in place. I wish his hair could be flexible so the style could be modified. He has a sharp nose, cheekbones, and jawline and his hair is shaved on one side and long on the other. He is also wearing a sleeveless hoodie, which is cool because my daughter likes to put his hood up and down. What I like about this fashionista line is that there are different builds (small/large) and different features on the dolls themselves, lots of diversity. This Ken doll features a slimmer build and wearing fitted clothes and pink hoodie, which should appeal to a variety of kids. Good movement and articulation.
