I love that Mattel is making more diverse barbies with different skin tones, hair colors, body styles, and fashionable clothes. My kiddo was attracted to this one in particular because of his hair (pink is the fave color around here these days) and the fact that he looks like a rock star. I will say this Barbie feels a little subpar quality to other male barbie dolls, but it may just be the fact that they made his body type leaner than the typical sized male barbies. The clothes seem to be made well, the shoes are awesome- they are spiky in the back. Overall, we like it and would definitely buy a male barbie like this as a gift, and definitely explore more of the barbies from the Fashionistas Doll collection.</span>

Upon first opening him, they looked at me like “why do we have this?” I told them just like in the real world, there are boys! they asked if he was a boyfriend or a brother lol. I said “he’s a friend”. They finally warmed up and he was invited into the “Dreamhouse”. He is a well Made and cute doll. However they did not like his outfit at all. They said it was weird and didn’t match. They want to get new clothes for him. He has joined their daily play schedule but not sure how long he is going to last. As mentioned earlier, it is a good quality doll with nice features.</span>

The clothes are designed well and easy to change out with other male Fashionista dolls. My kids loved playing with it and it’s even survived a few bath time play sessions. My only complaint is what the doll is made if. The body is this hollow, hard, plastic. It’s not the Barbie/Ken material of my youth which was thick rubber and the legs were posable. Those dolls lasted forever! The current barbie line seems like one accidental stepping on the doll would crush the plastic therefor ruining the doll. I wish Mattel would go back to the classic material that the Barbie line was made from. I would recommend this doll anyway, just don’t step on it.</span>

Dont like how the elbows and knees dont bend at all and the hair is plastic. Wouldve been nice to have hair that you can brush. The clothes are made out of a very thin and seemingly cheap fabric.</span>

He has a very handsome looking face and his hair is a cute two toned brown and pink mohawk. When my daughter first laid eyes on him she said he is so cool and I agree he really is. His outfit is great I love the plaid pants and the grey tye dye or grey wash shirt. His shoes are black and edgy with some plastic rubber spikes. I really am happy with this doll so much I will most likely get a few more of him to add to my personal collection and as gifts. He really is awesome and a must have.</span>
