Showing that disabilities can't hold you back. This Barbie set comes with a lovely Barbie, dressed in a cute outfit, great hair and earrings, with a pink Barbie wheelchair and ramp too. This opens up so many conversations to have with children as we've discovered! Absolutely great and amazing quality too. The wheelchair works great on the ramp, when going into our Barbie house. The wheel hair has brakes too, so you can stop it rolling which is perfect. The barbie herself is very flexible and great to move. She doesn't stand on her own, again a rest feature to be able to discuss with children. Normalising that this is how some people live and how they have to do things. This one has flexible joints so my daughter finds it easy to change her clothes and sit her in the wheelchair. This also comes with a wheelchair ramp that is easy to use with other Barbie accessories. The doll is your standard sized Barbie and the wheel chair is a very good size for the doll, it has a clip that clips to the doll so she doesn&rsquo;t fall out during play, the wheels are brilliant and move freely, the doll doesn&rsquo;t move during play either, The doll can be used out the chair also with moveable arms and legs, both the chair and the doll feel quite strong and look like they will get a lot of play without breaking so soon after purchase. She is a beautiful Barbie, her hair and outfit are lovely and her shoes are super cute. The doll is beautiful, with a full head of soft hair, large hoop earrings, jelly sandals and a simple summer romper that isn&rsquo;t so fussy as to get in the way of play. What makes her most special is the fully articulated body that is easily posed to fit not only her accompanying wheelchair, but to bend into realistic positions using furniture and vehicles from other Barbie playsets and the Dreamhouse. The standard fashionistas with stiff arms and legs don&rsquo;t compare! The wheelchair itself is well designed with a waist clip to secure the doll in the seat of the chair, two hand brakes to lock the wheels and and an adjustable footrest. My granddaughter was intrigued when she saw her great grandmother using a wheelchair during a short visit last month and this Barbie sized version gives her the chance to explore the different features of a wheelchair on her own. The included ramp is a nice touch that expands on what might be the challenges of navigating wheels over obstacles someone might encounter in real situations. Since she received it a few days ago, she has played with the doll several times each day. The doll is beautiful, fashionable and the high quality we expect from the Barbie brand. Her wheelchair fits perfectly in the elevator of her Barbie dreamhouse and seems to be of great quality as well. The details of this Barbie were focused on the movable body parts. The legs bend at the knees as well as the ankles. The arms bend at the elbows and at the wrists. The wheelchair moves easily and has a plastic holder on the chair back that keeps the doll in place and upright. My daughters enjoyed assisting their Barbie into places with the help of the ramp that is included.
