I actually still have all my old ones and they have been passed down through all 4 of my daughters. The girls love them but when I saw this, I thought how great it was to have a more “normal” looking doll for them to play with. Something that has imperfections because no one is perfect. She’s perfectly imperfect and my 6 year old twins LOVE her. They have a birthday coming up next month and are already asking for some of the other ones in the series. Hopefully there will be a nice selection of outfits and accessories for these all these dolls as well.

This doll has a more proportional body shape, and differences in skin pigmentation. It’s nice to think this will help more kids feel accepted and get rid of unattainable beauty ideals. The only complaint I had is that her hair seemed like it was a little wonky, there were some weird random long strands, like maybe she gave herself a Covid haircut. But we trimmed them off and she’s good!</span>
