The pool is nice compared to others because it is sturdy and all one piece which makes it easy to move around for optimal play set up. The side is detachable. The only downside is that the slide detaches rather easily and the pool only fits 1, maybe 2 dolls at a time. Rather it is having her dolls go for a quick swim in the pool, or pretending it&rsquo;s a hot tub, or even a bathtub at times, she continuously finds new ways to include this pool while she plays. The depth of the pool is enough to go to almost shoulder height while a normal Barbie sits in it. We find that this pool provides a better experience when using the smaller Chelsea dolls since it can fit more than two at a time. The slide is a great addition to this. We do wish the slide was a bit taller/longer to provide a better sliding experience for Barbie dolls. However, the slide is a great size for the smaller Chelsea dolls. The included accessories are a great touch, but we do wish that the towel wasn&rsquo;t a thin piece of fabric and, instead, was something more like an actual towel that could partially dry the doll after a quick swim. This swimming pool is small enough to put into a bag with some dolls to easily transport. We&rsquo;ve found ourselves packing up some dolls and bringing this when we go visit family or friends. It was very simple to set up and can be enjoyed immediately. The Barbie doll itself is all plastic, including the swim suit, making it ideal for when it gets wet. It comes with a slide which is able to attach to either side and Barbie easily balances on top. There is also a small beach towel and 2 drinks. Barbie is able to hold the drinks in her hands without them moving. The pool also comes with 2 drink holders on the edge in which the drinks can securely be placed. This is a great feature as to not worry about losing small pieces. Finally, being able to add water to the pool was great and there was no concerns about leaks. The water made this the most enjoyable part! The negatives: The slide does not secuely attach to the pool but rather only rests on the indented edge. It fell over several times during play and became frustrating. The beach towel is very small in size compared to Barbie. The accessories are very minimal and there is not much to interact with in play. Lastly, when in the sitting position, Barbie in unable to sit straight up. She is designed to be in a lounging position which caused more frustration in play. Overall, even with a few flaws, it was entertaining and enjoyable to play with.
