My little girl loves watching her big brother play basketball and was thrilled when she could recreate plays at home with her Barbies! The Barbie&rsquo;s legs bend so she can run. The ball also stays securely in her hand while she&rsquo;s dribbling, but can also come off to shoot some hoops (or get the ball stolen)! After the game you can put her hair down, throw on some heels, and a dress for a celebration dinner. My daughter was a bit disappointed that the ball didn't actually bounce, but since it is plastic, that was to be expected. My girls quickly whisked the Barbie up to the rest and have had a couple of &quot;games&quot; of basketball with a couple of our other jointed dolls! Barbies normally have the arm and legs 🦵 with out the weird bend. The hands are in anakward position it can not hold a ball at all, my daughters play sport and the hands should at least be in a realistic position. We love the past sports/yoga dolls and this new African American basketball player doll! She comes with the cutest little plastic basketball that has a finger grip so the doll can actually hold the ball in hand. The oufit is 2 pieces that can be removed. My kids always love the articulation with these dolls because they can pose them in many positions.
