My daughter enjoys the surprise of finding out which doll she will get. I thought this one was particularly nice and we really liked her hair and the fact that she actually came with a brush! She's been begging for one of these Barbies since she saw it on TV. The individual surprises to open were exciting. She loved filling up the capsule and dipping Barbie. I was not prepared for the white, milky water to drip everywhere, but it cleaned easily. The only issue we had was the white was pretty heavily built up in certain areas of the doll (feet and pelvis) and that took extra work to remove. The white kept seeping from the hip/leg joints and I had to take over for a while to keep wiping that out. Once cleaned up, however, my daughter loved her. She loved dipping the Barbie in warm water to reveal the surprise bathing suit. She also loved opening the 5 surprise bags that included the Barbie doll, earrings, skirt, shoes, and comb. The color changing heart (from white to pink) on the bathing suit was an added bonus for her and allows her to keep some of the surprise magic long after first opening the toy. My daughter noted that the Barbie has soft hair (which she loves) and cannot do the splits (which is not necessarily a bad thing, but unlike her other Barbie dolls). She enjoyed unboxing the doll and its accessories and the fun part is you fill up the tube the Barbie came in with cold or warm water and watch the Barbie change colors. The accessories are sturdy and fit the doll perfectly so there is no frustration from my little one in putting her shoes on for example. My daughter especially loved the colored hair and brush. The colors and designs used in her clothing and accessories reminds me of 70&rsquo;s so they definitely nailed the &ldquo;groovy&rdquo; aspect of this collection. Our doll came covered in pink and white checks prior to dipping her in water. The water revealed a magenta swim suit with smiley face daisys on it. The doll herself has such a sleek hair style. Half up half down with a high pony bun and magenta streaks to match the swim suit . 1 of the 4 surprise bags had a daisy smiley skirt, the others included shoes, earrings, and a groovy purple flower power hair brush. If you apply cold water to the flowers on her swimsuit they change colors.
